About
Mark is a saxophonist from Southern California. He has performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA, and recorded in Capitol Records Studio. In 2023, He obtained a BA in Jazz Studies from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He currently resides in Amsterdam and is an active member of its vibrant jazz scene.
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that the role of the teacher is to help nurture the natural curiosity that we all have within us. When that curiosity can develop, it can turn to inspiration and even passion.
Music plays a different role in each of our lives, and my job is to help you explore what that means for you. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I help students figure out what they need and how to truly enjoy this process of building that.
